Fnished Projects
From scrapwood to hotrod

Originally a Fender Squier Stratocaster, this guitar had a complete rebirth. The body, hidden underneath several stickers, was beaten to a pulp with scratches and cracks all over it. After some intensive restoration work, the body was restored. It was then repainted with a metallic purple, black, and chrome mix, along with some artistic vision, and turned into a desert nightscape. Then on top of that is a brand new mirror chrome pickguard. The control knobs were repainted to a matching purple and a black channel switching knob. To tie it all together and truly make this guitar a hotrod, brand new Seymour-Duncan Hot Rodded humbuckers were wired into the housing. With those controlling the neck and bridge signals, a final third single-coil strat pickup was savaged from the original guitar to provide an awesome balance of deep and punchy tone. This guitar all together has come to become a work of art, but the way it performs, it can definitely be considered a CHEL Custom.
FROM DUSTY SHELF TO 50's ROCK N' ROLL

This telecaster found its way out of a man's house and into CHEL's hands. Originally a Johnson, after a little bit of dusting off, you could definitely see that it was once a beauitful guitar. After years of playing it, the pickups were no longer functioning right, the pickguard had become weather beaten, and the old painjob just didn't shine like it was supposed to. Taking one of the classiest looking American guitars on the market and making it beautiful again can come in many ways. For this guitar, we went with a pearl white finish with a matte look and feel. The paintjob turned out amazingly and looks classier than ever. To bring the guitar truly to life, we added in a brand new scarlet red nude Marilyn Monroe pickguard along with silver accent dots along the top of it. This combined with a brand new carving out of the headstock brought this guitar back to life and brought us back to the 50's era of Rock N' Roll lifestyle.
